ORDER

The petitioner alleges harassment at the hands of the local police station.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions, from the Sub Inspector of Police, Taluk Police Station, Sankarankovil, submitted that the petitioner had taken money from the local self help group and failed to return the same and hence, the private respondents herein have filed a complaint against her.

3.The petitioner is said to have given an undertaking to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4312 of 2020 settle the said claim. Recording the petitioner's undertaking, the complaint was closed. It is quite possible that if the petitioner fails to adhere to her undertaking, the respondent police (either R2 or R6) may revive the complaint and register an FIR. If that happens, the respondent police are directed to intimate the petitioner about the same, so that, the petitioner will have adequate breathing time to move this Court for the relief of anticipatory bail. If the respondent Police wants to enquire the petitioner, they will issue summons in writing. 4.With this direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
