Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri to dispose of the CC No.370 of 2014, within a stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, some of the accused persons in CC No.370 of 2014 are women and they are facing trial for the past seven years and the offence is of the year 2014 and charges have been framed under Sections 294 (b), 323, 506 (i) IPC and under Section 4 of WH Act.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the oldness of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri to conclude the trial and dispose of the case in CC No.370 of 2014 on its file, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

5. With the aforesaid direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
