O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.1410 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 120(b), 384, 406, 467, 468 and 420 I.P.C., and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is submitted that the case was registered on 29.11.2016 and that there was no progress thereafter.

4. Hearing the grievance of the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the

investigation is under process and that a final report is likely to be filed within a period of three months.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to allow this petition. The respondent is directed to file the final report in Crime No.1410 of 2016 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
