Prayer: Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose the Revision petition filed by the petitioner in j.g.vzl.28.2018/c (2) and pass suitable orders within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose the Revision petition filed by the petitioner in j.g.vzl.28.2018/c (2) and pass suitable orders within a time frame stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.V.Karthikeyan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagavathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is passed against the 3rd respondent, notice to him is dispensed with. 3.By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.As against the order passed by the 2nd respondent i.e. Sub Collector in Na.Ka.5590/2017/A3 dated 29.03.2018, the petitioner preferred a revision under Section 13 of Patta Pass Book Act before https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the 1st respondent in December 2018. The same has not so far been disposed of inspite of notices having been given by the 1st respondent for enquiry, pursuant to which, the petitioner also appeared for enquiry and enquiry also was completed. Hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner wants a direction to the 1st respondent to decide the said revision petition and pass final orders thereon, within a time frame.

5.I have heard the learned learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, who would submit that the said revision petition pending before the 1st respondent, filed by the petitioner would be decided, on merits and in accordance with law and final orders would be passed, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

6.Considering the limited scope of this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the following direction:

The 1st respondent is directed to decide the revision petition filed by the petitioner as against the order of the 2nd respondent dated 29.03.2018 and pass final orders thereon, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
