O R D E R

This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.132 of 2015.

2. The petitioner is the de facto complainant and lodged a complaint as against the accused for the offence under Section 420 of IPC. Though the case was registered on 27.09.2015, it is alleged by the petitioner that there was no progress and no further investigation was conducted by the respondent police. It is in these circumstances the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner is constrained to file this petition for issuing a suitable direction to the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions however, submitted that the investigation is in progress and that the Final Report will be filed within a period of three months.

Recording the said submission, the above Criminal Original petition is allowed and the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a Final Report in Crime No.132 of 2015, before the jurisdictional Magistrate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
