ORDER

Mr.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to measure, demarcate the petitioner's property pursuant to his application dated 16.12.2023 and 10.02.2023.

3. The petitioner is claiming rights over the suit property under patta nos.199, 1574 and 1501 in S.No.318/2, 344/1 and 346/1 & 2 and 284/5B at Thethur Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District and has requested the authorities to conduct survey. The petitioner has also made a proper application on 16.12.2023 and inspite of the 1st respondent issuing summons proposing to survey the petitioner's property, survey was not conducted. Thereafter, the petitioner has made several visits to the respondents office seeking necessary action to be taken by conducting survey. However, till date survey has not been conducted and hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 2/4

4. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

5. The 1st respondent shall conduct the survey based on the petitioner's application dated 16.12.2023, after issuing notice to the interested third parties and pass final orders in accordance with law within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
