: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2021 and to take appropriate action against for illegally storing water and opening the excess water drains of the Thiruvottriur tank, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District and to ensure the free flow of excess water for the said tank in the future also.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner made a representation on 04.02.2021 stating that appropriate action will have to be taken to present the stoppage of water and apart from taking further action against the person, who blocked the passage for the surplus water. On receipt of the representation, the respondent No.3 has sent a communication to the petitioner stating that appropriate action would be taken. 2.Taking into consideration of the aforesaid representation and the reply sent by the respondent No.3 dated 12.02.2021, it appears that it is a dispute between two agriculturists. 3. In such view of the matter, we expect the respondent No.1 to take a final call along with respondent No.3 within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
