Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos. 1, 2 &3 to strictly instruct the respondent NO.5 to stay within the Residential Jurisdiction of the Melaiyur Revenue Village by considering petitioners representation dated 09.03.2019 and 13.06.2019.
ORDER : This petition coming on for hearing on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.ALAGUMANI, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.M.RAJA RAJAN, Government Advcoate for the Respondents the court made the following order:- The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that, pursuant to the directive issued by this Court dated 01.7.2019, steps have been taken to constitute Grievance Cell headed by the Revenue Divisional Officer in every revenue district and in this regard, so far, such Grievance Cell/Committee was
constituted for the following 13 districts, viz.,
1. Madurai
2. Nagapattinam
3. Erode
4. Salem
5. Sivagangai
6. Pudukottai
7. Karur
8. Dindigul
9. Nilgiris 10.Trichy 11.Thanjavur 12.Coimbatore and 13.Tiruppur
2. For the remaining districts, the constitution of grievance cell, work is going on and it will be over by a week. Hence, he seeks some reasonable time of one week or 10 days to report compliance before this Court regarding the constitution of such Grievance Cell/Committee in each revenue district throughout Tamil Nadu.
3.Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, for filing compliance report as indicated above, post the matter on 13.08.2019.
