Prayer: Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to survey and demarcate the boundaries of petitioner's land bearing Survey No.1301/4 situated at Megamalai Village, Anna Nagar, Kadamalaigundu Sub Division, Aundipatti Taluk, Theni District. ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to survey and demarcate the boundaries of his land bearing Survey No.1301/4 situated at Megamalai Village, Anna Nagar, Kadamalaigundu Sub Division, Aundipatti Taluk, Theni District.

2.Heard Mr.R.Murugan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.The petitioner's son, in order to survey the boundaries of the land of the petitioner in S.No.1301/4 at Megamalai Village, Anna Nagar, Kadamalaigundu Sub Division, Aundipatti Taluk, Theni District, had made an application along with necessary documents even on 10.01.2019 and thereafter, further reminder representation also was given by the petitioner on 03.06.2019 and if the said application and representation are directed to be considered and an order is directed to be passed thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.I have heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the application as well as the representation submitted by the petitioner would be considered and necessary steps would be taken to act upon on the said representation and final order to that effect would be passed, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 5.Considering the limited scope of the writ petition, this Court, with the consent of both sides, disposed of this writ petition, at the admission stage itself, with the following direction:

The respondents are hereby directed to consider the application and representation made by the petitioner's son and the petitioner dated 10.01.2019 and 03.06.2019 respectively and survey the land, if the petitioner is entitled to survey of the land and accordingly, pass final orders thereon, after completing the survey, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
