PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to withdraw the investigation of FIR No.354 of 2022 dated 10.09.2022 on the file of the fourth respondent, Pudukkottai Town Police Station and transfer the same to the second respondent.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to withdraw the investigation of FIR No.354 of 2022 dated 10.09.2022 on the file of the fourth respondent, Pudukkottai Town Police Station and transfer the same to the second respondent.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if a direction is issued to the fourth respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report within a stipulated time. 2/4

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was registered in Cr.No.354 of 2022 and investigation is pending.

4.Recording the above said submission and considering the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the fourth respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned jurisdictional Court within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
