This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.9 of 2025 pending investigation on the file of the 1st respondent police.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the second respondent, an FIR in crime No. 9 of 2025 had been registered, for the offences under Sections 140(3) of BNS. After investigation, final report has been filed through E-filing before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate.
3.Since the prayer is to quash the FIR and the respondent police have already completed the investigation and filed final report and as per the FIR there are some allegation to constitute offences against the 2/4
petitioner, it is for the petitioner to challenge the final report in the manner known to law. Therefore, this criminal original petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if he is so advised.
