Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give permission and protection to perform the cultural programme of Adal Padal (Kalai Nigaltchi) on 25.06.2019 at about 07.00 p.m., to 10.00 p.m., in connection with the "Kumbabishekam" of Arulmighu Maha Ganapathy and Arulmigu Mahasakthi Mariyamman Temple at Rajapatti, Pannankombu, East Pannankombu, Tiruchirappalli District.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give permission and protection to perform the cultural programme of Adal Padal (Kalai Nigaltchi) on 25.06.2019 at about 07.00 p.m., to 10.00 p.m., in connection with the "Kumbabishekam" of Arulmighu Maha Ganapathy and Arulmigu Mahasakthi Mariyamman Temple at Rajapatti, Pannankombu, East Pannankombu, Tiruchirappalli District.

2. Heard both sides.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and police protection to conduct the cultural programme of Adal Padal (Kalai Nigaltchi) on 25.06.2019 in connection with "Kumbabishekam" of the above said temple, the petitioner has given a representation on 18.06.2019 to the third respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.06.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.
5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
