Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and adequate police protection to conduct "Adal Padal" on 22.06.2019 at about 07.00 PM to 11.00 PM in the eve of Aani festival of the "Sri Kaliamman Kovil" situated in Kanakkankadu Village, Karambakkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, in pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2019.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and adequate police protection to conduct "Adal Padal" on 22.06.2019 at about 07.00 PM to 11.00 PM in the eve of Aani festival of the "Sri Kaliamman Kovil" situated in Kanakkankadu Village, Karambakkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, in pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and police protection to conduct 'Adal Padal' on 22.06.2019 in connection with "Aani Festival" of the above said temple, the petitioner has given a representation on 20.06.2019 to the third respondent and the said representation was not considered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
