(R5 impleaded as per order of this Court made in Crl.M.P.(MD)No.120 of 2018 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13696 of 2017 dated 11.01.2018) PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the Inspector of Police, Melur of Madurai District not to harass the petitioners without due process of law under the garb of conducting of a petition enquiry.

ORDER

According to the petitioners, the petitioners have been harassed at the hands of the respondent police, based on the complaint given by the respondents 3 and 4. Hence, the petitioners are before this Court with the aforesaid prayer. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1, 2 and 5 would submit that the case has been registered against the petitioners for the offences under Sections https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

294(b), 354, 465 and 506(2) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003, in Crime No.114 of 2018. The copy of the First Information Report has also been placed before this Court.

3.In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioners to seek their remedy before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law.
