ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed directing the second respondent police to register a case as against the proposed accused persons on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 28.03.2018 and to take appropriate action as against them within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he has made a complaint before the respondent police against the proposed accused persons alleging that they have committed crime by performing illegal marriage between the proposed first accused and another, which attracts the provisions under Sections 294(b), 506(ii), 323, 347, 454 and 420 IPC. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner filed this Criminal Original Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.
5. Considering the aforesaid fact that the enquiry is still pending, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the second respondent shall proceed with the case further in accordance with law.
6.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
