O R D E R

This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the 2nd respondent to file a final report in connection with Crime No.243 of 2016 on the file of the Karupayoorani Police Station within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner states that he is the wife of one Velayutham and that her husband met with an accident. Though the case was registered originally under Sections 279 and 337 of IPC, the same was altered in to Section 304(A) of IPC, after the death of her husband. It is further stated that there is no progress.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents on instructions submitted that the final report has already been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai on 15.03.2017 and that it is yet to be taken on file.

4. Having regard to the fact that the Charge Sheet has already been filed, the Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the second respondent is directed to see that the charge sheet is taken on file within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
