O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members from the hands of the fourth respondent on the basis of the petitioners complaint dated 22.01.2025. 2.According to the petitioner, the fourth respondent is causing disturbance to the petitioner and also threatening with dire consequences, thereby, he sent the representation, dated 22.01.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition has been filed. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the fourth respondent, the FIR in Crime No.441 of 2024 has been 2/5

registered and the same is under investigation. While so, the petitioner has sent the said representation to the first respondent and the same was forwarded to the second respondent and now, the same is under enquiry before the second respondent and the enquuiry will be completed within a period of one week.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondents, is inclined to pass order.

5.Since the enquiry is pending before the second respondent, he is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and complete the enquiry and dispose of it, within a period of one week in accordance with law.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
