PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to pay a death compensation of Rs.5,00,000/- for petitioner's deceased husband unnatural death.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to pay a compensation of Rs.5,00,000/- for the unnatural death of the petitioner's husband.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has already sent a representation on 22.02.2024 seeking to compensation for the unnatural death of her husband. Since the said representation was not considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 22.02.2024 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, directs the 4th respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 22.02.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
