Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and accord protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament scheduled for two days i.e., on 06.07.2019 at 04.00 p.m to 07.07.2019 at 06.00 a.m. and 07.07.2019 at 04.00 p,m. to 08.07.2019 at 06.00 a.m. going to held in West Koodal City Ground, Koodankulam, Tirunelveli District.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the the respondents to grant permission and accord protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament scheduled for two days i.e., on 06.07.2019 at 04.00 p.m to 07.07.2019 at 06.00 a.m. and 07.07.2019 at 04.00 p,m. to 08.07.2019 at 06.00 a.m. going to be held in West Koodal City Ground, Koodankulam, Tirunelveli District. 2.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), takes notice for the respondents. 4.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents on instructions submitted that the application has been considered and rejected by the second respondent Police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Considering the above circumstances, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. The Writ Petition stands dismissed accordingly. No costs.
