*********** This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent herein to issue patta to petitioner's property situated at Trichy District, Srirangam Taluk, Woraiyur Subregistration District, Somarasampettai Village, Vadagaputhur Agraharam, Natham S.F.No.129/1 admeasuring 5031 sq.ft after making necessary sub-division in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2022 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.It is the case of the petitioner that she is the absolute owner of the aforementioned property. She has applied for patta for the said property on 20.01.2022 with the respondent. Since the said application has not been considered till date, she has filed this writ petition.
3.Along with the writ petition, the petitioner has filed the registered sale deed dated 13.11.1997, Electricity Bill payment 1/3
receipt, House Tax receipt standing in her name for the said property. It is for the respondent to consider the same in the final order to be passed by him on the petitioner's application seeking for issuance of patta.
4.Heard Mr.R.Sundar, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner's application is considered on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner including granting him the opportunity of personal hearing. 5.Accordingly, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's application seeking for issuance of patta for his property comprised in S.F.No.129/1 admeasuring 5031 sq.ft, Natham, Vadagaputhur Agraharam, Somarasampettai Village, Woraiyur Subregistration District, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law after making necessary sub-division, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner including granting him the opportunity of personal hearing within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
