ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, seeking to direct the respondents to forthwith draw a seniority list of Secondary Grade Teachers of Kodaikanal Union including the name of the petitioner and consequently promote the petitioner in the vacant post of Head master of Panchayat Union Elementary School, Pallathadi, Kodaikanal Union, Dindigul, considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.11.2023. 2.When the case was called up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents on written instructions circulated a seniority list which has been drawn for the Secondary Grade Teachers.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and carefully perused the entire materials available on record. 4.On perusal of the same, it is found that the petitioner's name has been included in the seniority list in serial No.16. 2/4

5.In view of the same, this Court hereby direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.11.2023 in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
