ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of house property in natham S.F.No.188/74 for an extent of 3 cents at Utchapatti Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District on the basis of his representations dated 30.07.2018 and 23.03.2019 within time frame fixed by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.M.Palani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawthi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner, in order to get patta of the natham land claimed to have been in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner and prior to that with the father of the petitioner in S.F.No.188/74 for an extent of 3 cents at Utchapatti Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, had made representation to the 2nd respondent initially on 30.07.2018 and subsequently on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

23.03.2019. However, the said representations since have not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court with the aforesaid prayer. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner wants those representations to be considered within a time frame by the respondents and in that case, the petitioner would be satisfied. 4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the 2nd respondent would consider the said representations of the petitioner, on merits and pass orders, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought in the writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, at the admission stage itself, with the following direction:

"The 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 30.07.2018 and 23.03.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, with regard to his grievance of getting patta for the alleged natham land, where he is claimed to have been in possession for long period, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

6.With this direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
