ORDER

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the second respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.488 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instruction submitted that the complaint was closed as "Mistake of Fact" and that R.C.S. Notice is yet to be served. He further submitted that he has served the copy of the R.C.S. Notice to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. The said statement is recorded and hence, the Criminal Original petition is closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to file Protest petition.
