O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to register a case for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 380, 147, 341, 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of IPC., on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, dated 21.09.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, the 2nd respondent police refused to receive the petitioner's complaint dated 21.09.2017 and has not registered a case against the proposed accused for the offences punishable under Sections 380, 147, 341, 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of IPC. Therefore, he sent his complaint through the Registered post on 21.09.2017. But, so far no action has been taken. Hence, he approached this Court.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor undertakes that the compliant will be referred to the District Legal Services Authorities within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
