: Respondents Prayer:Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to direct the 1st respondent to issue orders to any of his subordinate police officer to conduct enquiry and register a Criminal Case on the complaints made by the petitioner on 07.09.2015, 22.09.2016, 11.03.2017, 22.03.2017, 31.03.2017, 03.04.2017, 05.04.2017 and 19.05.2017 and to the DGP, Tamil Nadu on 19.04.2017 and to the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on 13.07.2017 and 10.02.2018 and to grant such other suitable orders that may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to issue orders to any of his subordinate police officer to conduct enquiry and register a Criminal Case on the petitioner's

complaints, dated 07.09.2015, 22.09.2016, 11.03.2017, 22.03.2017, 31.03.2017, 03.04.2017, 05.04.2017 and 19.05.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the State and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner lodged complaints on 07.09.2015, 22.09.2016, 11.03.2017, 22.03.2017, 31.03.2017, 03.04.2017, 05.04.2017 and 19.05.2017 before the respondent police. As there was no case registered on the said complaint, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) on instructions, would submit that the petition enquiry is pending before the third respondent in CSR.No.175/2016.

5. In view of the above said submission the third respondent police is directed to expedite the enquiry and complete the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, police officer concerned shall take action in accordance with law. In case of closure of the complaint, a copy of the closure report shall be furnished to the petitioner within a week of such closure. On receipt of the same, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
