ORDER

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner had filed this Petition seeking permission of the Respondents to hold cultural event, Aadal Paadal programme to be held on 05.03.2024 from 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm at Arulmig Sri Malaiyanachiamman Thirukovil, Piranpatti Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions of the Respondents, would submit that the Petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2024 was rejected as there is National Highway nearby the temple. 3.The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is ready 2/5

to give an undertaking that the Aadal Paadal programme will not be held anyway near National Highway causing hindrance to the vehicles. 4.In the light of the submission made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the petitioner is directed to give a representation today itself with specific undertaking that they will not held the Aadal Paadal programme near National Highway causing hindrance to the vehicles as well as to the general public. On receipt of such representation, the Respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders immediately insisting conditions. If there is any violation of condition, the Respondents shall stop the programme.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 01.03.2024 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No mm 3/5
