ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to survey the land situated in Survey No.437 to an extent of 45 Cents out of 3 Acres 14 Cents, situated at Kodangipatti Village, Bodinayakkanur Taluk, Theni District, based on the Petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2019 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.A.Arputharaj, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner, in order to survey the land and identify the boundaries of the petitioner in Survey No.437 to an extent of 45 Cents out of 3 Acres 14 Cents, situated at Kodangipatti Village, Bodinayakkanur Taluk, Theni District, made a representation to the respondents on 18.06.2019 and in this regard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, if the said representation is directed to be considered and an order to that effect is directed to be passed within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.

4.I have heard the learned learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, if the petitioner is entitled to get the relief sought for i.e. survey of the land and identify the boundaries, certainly, the respondents would do the needful, pursuant to the said representation dated 18.06.2019 of the petitioner, within a time frame. 5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both parties, at the admission itself, with the following direction:

The respondents are hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.06.2019 and after taking necessary steps, if the respondents found that the petitioner is entitled for the same to measure the land and identify the boundaries, pass orders thereon, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
