ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to pay compensation of Rs.10,00,000/- to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2026.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate for the 1st respondent and the learned counsel for the respondents 2 and 3. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the 4th respondent, notice is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents on 07.01.2026 seeking compensation for the death of her husband due to electrocution. 2/4

However, he would submit that since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would submit that on considering the representation of the petitioner, necessary orders would be passed by the 2nd respondent.

5. Considering the said submission made, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.01.2026 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
