PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to pass an order directing the Hon'ble Court of the Fast Track Magistrate,Thoothukudi,Thoothukudi District to conduct and conclude the case in Crl.MP.No.240 of 2021 within a time frame as stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the Fast Track Magistrate,Thoothukudi,Thoothukudi District to conduct and conclude the case in Crl.MP.No.240 of 2021 within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case in Crl.M.P.No.240 of 2021 is still pending on the file of the Fast Track Court, Thoothukudi and the sworn statement is not yet taken.

3. In view of the same, the Fast Track Court, Thoothukudi is directed to record the sworn statement of the defacto complainant in Crl.M.P.No.240 of 2021 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter proceed with the trial.
