ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the the respondent to sanction the non-refundable amount of Rs.2,00,000/- from employees share amount in petitioner's EPF account, after considering his application, dated 05.07.2018, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Mr. P. Balasubramanian, learned Standing counsel takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has made a representation, dated 20.11.2018, requesting the respondent to sanction the non refundable amount of Rs.2,00,000/- from employees share amount on his provident fund account, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, he has filed the present Writ Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Though this petition has been filed to give a positive direction, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondents, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.07.2018.

6. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer, that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.07.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
