O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent to secure the accused persons, namely, Senthilkumar, Vidya and Suruli in connection with the petitioner's complaint in Crime No.654 of 2017 on the file of the respondent within time limit as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is stated that the petitioner has lodged a complaint earlier making an allegation against certain individuals and a case was registered in Crime No.654 of 2017 for the alleged offences under Sections 323, 324 and 506(i) of I.P.C. The petitioner alleging that the respondent has not taken any further action pursuant to his complaint has come forward with the prayer to direct the respondent to secure the accused persons.

4. The offence alleged against the individuals are not serious and the major offence is under Section 506(i) of I.P.C. It is not the duty of the respondent to arrest everyone unless arrest is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

specifically required for custodial interrogation or as directed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in many number of Judgments.

5. Having regard to the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Original petition is dismissed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (Writs) /True copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To 1.The Sub Inspector of Police, Andipatti Police Station, Theni District.
