Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 07.04.2018 to grant permission to conduct the ''Kovil Thiruvizha'' as well as other programmes and also to conduct the ''Aadal Padal'' on 12.05.2018 at about 6.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. in the Temple, namely, Shree Mariamman Kovil at Kurichi Village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District.

ORDER

The petitioner herein wants to conduct the Kovil Festival as well as other programmes and also to conduct the ''Aadal Padal'' on 12.05.2018 at about 6.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. in the Temple, namely, Shree Mariamman Kovil at Kurichi Village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District. He has given a representation, dated 07.04.2018, in this regard.

2.The second respondent is directed to grant permission within a period of one week from today. This Court while allowing similar petitions has directed the authorities to incorporate certain conditions. The second respondent while granting permission shall incorporate appropriate conditions to ensure the smooth conduct of the event in question. This Writ Petition is allowed accordingly. No costs.
