ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.05.2019 for issuance of Patta for New S.No.15 Block No.29, Ward-C, Aranthangi Village, Pudukottai District measuring 17.5 cents.

2.Heard Mr.M.S.Sureshkumar, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.The petitioner, in order to get patta of his land in New S.No.15 Block No.29, Ward-C, Aranthangi Village, Pudukottai District, measuring 17.05 cents, made an application on 17.05.2019 to the respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, if the said representation is considered by the respondent and an order to that effect is passed within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied.

4.I have heard the learned learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, who would submit that, the said request of the petitioner dated 17.05.2019 would be considered by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent and an order to that effect would be passed within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

5.Considering the limited scope of the writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both parties, at the admission itself, with the following direction:

The respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.05.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity of being heard to the parties, if need arises."

6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
