ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant permission for conducting the Educational Scholarships, Blood Donation Camp, Annathanam and other charity services on 04.03.2026 at Atkondargulam, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tenkasi District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2026.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that, in the previous year, permission was granted subject to certain conditions. However, the petitioners violated almost all the conditions, and ten FIRs were registered in that regard. Therefore, the respondents vehemently objected to grant permission for conducting the Educational Scholarships, Blood Donation Camp, Annathanam and other charitable services.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the 2/5

petitioner's father had passed away and that the petitioner now intends to conduct only Annathanam and certain charitable services in connection with his father's death anniversary.

4. The learned Government Advocate vehemently objected based on the Facebook post, wherein, it is stated as "tpiutpy; jiyfs; rpjWk; ."

5. Admittedly, there was a retaliation murder by two groups for the past 25 years. Therefore, based on the law and order, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) vehemently opposed the request. However, the petitioner submitted that he is restricting his prayer to conduct only Annathanam for his father's death anniversary.

6. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to conduct Annathanam alone. The petitioner shall not erect any stages, banners, flex boards, or any microphone or sound system. Only Annathanam is permitted. The petitioner's family and the village people alone are permitted and no outsiders shall be allowed. The petitioner is further directed to ensure that no food is wasted under the guise of Annathanam.
