Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for R1 to R3 and the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent.

2. The subject matter of the writ petition pertains to the affairs of the Sri Parvathi Amman Temple and Sri Muthumalai Ayyan Temple located in Seenanthoppu, Kadhasamypuram Village, Thiruchendur Taluk. While the fourth respondent would claim to be the secretary of the temple committee, the petitioner disputes the said status. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.4670 of 2022 The challenge in this writ petition is to the endorsement made by the Tahsildar, Thiruchendur in Na.Ka.No.A3/100/2021, dated 31.01.2022. Interim order was granted in this writ petition at the time of admission.

3. As rightly pointed out by the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent, the impugned endorsement does not in any way affect the rights of the petitioner.

4. I clarify that the impugned endorsement has no legal or statutory value and that it would not confer right on any of the parties. Such an endorsement is not open to legal challenge. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
