ORDER

The petitioner has made certain allegations as against Thanjavur West Sarvothaya Sangam that there was misappropriation and mismanagement in the Sangam and has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the first respondent for taking appropriate action against the Sangam.

2. This Court has ordered notice in this writ petition by order dated 16.03.2022. The 4th respondent/the Secretary, Thanjavur West Sarvothaya Sangam has filed a counter affidavit on 30.08.2022. After filing of the counter affidavit, the petitioner has now circulated a letter dated 27.06.2023 for withdrawing this writ petition.

3. Being not satisfied with the reasons for withdrawing this writ petition, this Court, by order dated 18.07.2023, directed the petitioner to file an affidavit under what circumstances he filed this writ petition and the actual reasons for withdrawing this writ petition.

4. Pursuant to the direction of this Court, the petitioner has filed an affidavit on 21.07.2023 stating as follows: "Subsequent to the writ petition, the Thanjavur West Sarvodaya Sangam has passed resolution dated 17.03.2023 to remove the ineligible person appointed as trustee of the Sangam whom according to me were acting against the interest of the Sangam. Since the purpose of the writ petition served, I instruct my counsel 3/6

to withdraw the above writ petition."

5. Recording the same, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
