O R D E R

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is the defacto Complainant in Crime No.7 of 2020 pending on the file of the 1/4

Respondent. The offences involved in this case are under Sections 147, 148 323 and 506(ii) IPC and Section 3 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage & Loss) Act, 1992. Even after four years, the investigation had not been completed. Therefore, the Petitioner was forced to file this Petition seeking direction against the Investigation Officer to complete the investigation and lay the final report before the Court concerned.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions of the Respondent, submits that within 15 days, the Police will file the final report. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The Petitioner shall approach the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate concerned and shall file protest petition, if there is negative final report filed.
