Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue free bus pass to travel in the buses of State Transport Undertakings of Government of Tamil Nadu as agreed in the Clause 11 of the Settlement signed under Section 12(3) of the ID Act, dated 22.01.2011 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
Seeking direction to the respondents to give the petitioner's free bus pass to travel in the Government buses, as agreed in the Clause 11 of the Settlement, signed under Section 12
(3) of the ID Act, dated 22.01.2011, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.
2. Mr. P. Balasubramanian, learned Standing counsel takes notice for the respondents.
3. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

4. Though this petition has been filed to give a positive direction to the respondents, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondents, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.04.2019.
5. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the respondents on merits and in accordance with law.
6. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer, that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.04.2019 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
