O R D E R

The petitioner seeks direction to secure the accused in Crime No.466 of 2017, on the file of the third respondent by way of expedite the investigation and file the final report within a stipulated time.

2. This Court cannot direct the respondent Police to arrest any person. However, the First Information Report has been registered in the year 2017. The respondent Police cannot simply keep the matter pending on file. Hence, the respondent Police is directed to conclude the investigation and file the final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
