ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 6 to 9. 2.The only request made in the writ petition is for completion of the petition mentioned patta cancellation proceedings. 2/5
3.I consciously refrain from going into the merits of the matter. The second respondent is directed to conclude the proceedings and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. All the contentions of the private respondents are left open. The learned counsel appearing for the private respondents submitted before this Court that the petitioner does not even have any locus standi in the matter and that he is also an encroacher. I refrain from going into the merits of the matter. The only direction now given is that the petition mentioned proceedings should be concluded and final order shall be passed within the aforesaid time limit. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
