ORDER

By consent of both counsels, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The limited prayer sought for is for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 22.12.2017.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent submitted that in view of the pendency of appeals, considerable time must be taken to dispose of the same and that the appeals have been taken up for consideration as per seniority. As such, in my view, the time limit of eight weeks could be reasonable for the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In the result, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 22.12.2017, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above observation, this writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
