O R D E R

This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.52 of 2016 and file a final report within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner states that he has given a complaint as against the accused and the case was registered in Crime No.52 of 2016 for the offence under Section 420 of IPC. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states though the case was registered in the year 2016, that there was no progress in the investigation and that therefore, the petitioner is constrained to file this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent on instructions would submit that the investigation is under process and that the final report is likely to be filed within a period of three months.

4. Recording the said submission, the above Criminal Original petition is allowed and the respondent police is directed to

complete the investigation and file a Final Report in Crime No.52 of 2016, before the jurisdictional Magistrate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CS-III) /True copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
