This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to give adequate police protection during the survey to be conducted by the second respondent. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner purchased a property through valid registered sale deed and enjoying the same without any hindrance. He is regularly cultivating paddy in the said land. In that circumstances, some of the villagers sent frivolous complaint stating that the petitioner encroached the public land. Hence, the petitioner submitted an application to survey his property and paid the fees. When the Firka Surveyor visited the property to conduct survey, some villagers caused trouble and they did not allow the Firka Surveyor to conduct survey. Thereafter, he has sent a representation to the first respondent on 06.11.
2020 seeking police protection. Since no action has been taken by the respondent police, the petitioner is before this Court, with this present Criminal Original Petition. 3.According to the learned Government Advocate(crl.side), no representation was received by the respondent police till date. If any representation is sent by the petitioner, they are ready to consider the same.

4.From the arguments advanced by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), it is seen that no representation was given. If any necessity arises for giving police protection, the petitioner may give a representation to the concerned authority and the authority may pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after making enquiry with all the persons concerned and the necessity. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
