O R D E R

This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.207 of 2012 and file a Charge Sheet within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The complaint was lodged and registered in Crime No.207 of 2012. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that there was no further progress in the enquiry.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent on instructions would submit that the charge sheet has already been filed, but, it is yet to be taken on file. He further represented that due to some formal defect, the charge sheet is returned and that the respondent will see to it that the charge sheet is taken on file within a reasonable time. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Taking into consideration the submissions on either side, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction: The respondent is directed to see that the charge sheet filed earlier by the respondent police is taken on file within a period of two months from the date of date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
