ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner to the property situated in S.No.1751/5 to the extent of 68.53 sq.ft., at Cholapuram Village, Rajapalayam Taluk by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.05.2019. 2.Heard Mr.S.Mandhiralingeswaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been residing in the natham land in S.No.1751/5 to the extent of 68.53 sq.ft., at Cholapuram Village, Rajapalayam Taluk. In order to get patta for the said land, the petitioner made an application to the respondent on 04.05.2019 and if the said application is directed to be considered and an order to that effect is directed to be passed within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the said request of the petitioner would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame.
5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, with the consent of both sides, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition, at the admission itself, with the following direction:
"The respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.05.2019 with regard to the grievance of getting patta for the natham land and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
