ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of an enquiry.

2. The main grievance of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that though the present petitioner is no way connected with the fourth respondent, the fourth respondent lodged a false complaint with the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Tenkasi District and that based on the said complaint, the Inspector of Police harassing the present petitioner.

3. Mr. A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would contend that a complaint lodged by the fourth respondent with the third respondent was registered in Current Paper No.G4/217/21/1042 and posted for enquiry.

4. On perusal of a copy of the complaint submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) shows that there are certain cognizable offences and it is not known as to why the police has not yet registered First Information Report against the present petitioner.

5. In the circumstances, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
