Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the second respondent herein in his proceedings Tha.Pa.No. 24/2021 dated 16.11.2021 and confirmed by the 1st respondent herein in his Proceedings R.C.No. 3206029/AP.1(2)/2022 dated 26.11.2022 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to reinstate the petitioner into service, together with all consequential service and monetary benefits, within a time frame.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned proceedings passed by the second respondent dated 16.11.2021 as confirmed by the first respondent in his proceedings dated 26.11.2022 and consequently, for a direction to the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service together with all consequential service and monetary benefits.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of 2/5

the respondents 1 and 2 produced the proceedings of the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu - first respondent in Rc.No. 8688458/API(2)/2024, dated 10.02.2025. He submitted that the petitioner filed a review petition, which is still pending before the Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Chennai and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. The said submission and the proceedings dated 10.02.2025 have not been refuted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
