This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the learned First Additional District and Sessions Judge, Thirunelveli to complete the trial and dispose of the S.C.No.377 of 2017 within a stipulated period of time.

2. The petitioner states that her son aged about three years was brutally murdered and the said occurrence happened in day light and the accused was also caught hold by the public.

3. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to pass the following directions: "The learned First Additional District and Sessions Judge, Thirunelveli, is directed to complete the trial in S.C.No.377 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible and dispose of the same preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
