This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to file a final report in Crime No.256 of 2014 expeditiously within a time frame fixed by this Court.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.256 of 2014 on 16.06.2014 under Sections 120 (b) and 420 of IPC. However so far, no final report has been filed.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the investigation is in progress and one month time may be granted to file a final report.
4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
