Respondent Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code to direct the respondent police to conduct proper investigation and to include the names of the petitioners as witnesses and obtain statement from them and based on statements to file a final report in Crime No.7/16 dated 17.06.2016 before the Special Court under the Tamilnadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (In Financial Establishments)Act, 1997. O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to conduct proper investigation and to include the names of the petitioners as witnesses and obtain statement from them and based on their statements to file a final report in Crime No.7 of 16 dated 17.06.2016 before the Special Court under the Tamilnadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (In Financial Establishments)Act, 1997. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that no complaint has been received from the petitioners and if any such complaint is received, the same shall be considered by the respondent.
3.Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, it is open to the petitioners to make complaint before the respondent police along with necessary documents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any such complaint is received, the respondent police shall take the same on file and proceed in accordance with law.
